Financial Aid is being provided every year to theatre groups of the state for their new production and also to arrange theatre festival, seminar, workshop etc. This has created a flow of theatre practice in almost every corner of the state.

Every year different Awards and Accolades are handed over to different groups and persons for their performance.

Lectures are arranged every year to pay our tribute to the Thespian talents of the state. Seminars are also arranged regularly on different aspects of Drama and Theatre.

Publication of books on various aspects of Thespian art and ‘Natya Akademi Patrika’ is an important task of Paschimbanga Natya Akademi. There is a retail outlet at Akademi Bhavan, where these books are available for sale.
